1998
19-year-old me had been modeling for a few years and started my career as a flight attendant with Delta Airlines. I was very self conscious of my body...oh, if I only knew how to appreciate my youthful curves back then. I wanted a natural, non-invasive method to diminish imperfections, and body wrapping seemed to do the trick for detoxing, losing inches, and tightening my skin.

My path in life took a drastic turn when I became a single mom. Living in Atlanta with no family nearby, I knew I wouldn't be able to go back to work as a flight attendant. I was an unemployed single mom and even more insecure about my body. She was 10 pounds...so, ya! But then I had my "aha" moment.

2001
I decided to go to school for massage and esthetics and got double certified. Thank god for reliable child care, it wasn’t easy. After graduating I focused on non invasive body contouring. Hey, I would be my first client, this could be great.

2002-2003

I started my business from my humble apartment which thankfully was legal back then. I only offered inch loss body wraps and EMS treatments. I hustled my ass off day in day out. I placed flyers in mailboxes, visited hair and nail salons, handed out business cards and coupons, and even tagged along with the local Mary Kay/Avon lady who hosted house parties. Soon my little business gave me the stability and flexibility I needed. My aspirations grew, so I sold my valuable client list and moved out west to sunny California. Los Angeles, baby!

2004-2007
I arrived in Burbank California with my daughter and a dream. I worked at a spa while building a mobile body wrap service catering to celebrities who demanded convenience and discretion. During that time, my thirst for knowledge in internal wellness led me to train to become a colon hydrotherapist and master herbalist. That is when I began making my own body wrap solution with the help of my Grandma. We spent hours in my kitchen. It was magical.

2008-2016
How far I came in this time. I built two successful Cellulite Clinics featuring my famous body wraps, ultrasound, cavitation, laser lipo, endermologie, ems, and vacuum therapy. I was mass producing my body wrap formulas which spas were now purchasing private label. I was featured in magazines and on TV. I was the go-to place for body contouring and cellulite treatments. I could afford fabulous vacations and the best restaurants...a far cry from the days of dollar menus and 99 cent stores.

2016
This is the year my life changed significantly. The stars aligned with an opportunity to sell my clinics for a boatload of cash. It was bittersweet but definitely the right move. I wanted more time with my daughter before she left for college. She shared me with my business for long enough. I was ready to focus on quality mommy-daughter time and if I’m being totally honest, keep an eye on her, She was 16!!

2019
An empty nester and bored out of my mind. I went out more socially and continued to see past clients at events. I would always hear the same things...“I miss your wraps” and “I can’t find anything like them.” And that’s when the lightbulb turned on. I needed to sell my body wrap products, Wrap Star by Dae, and train beauty entrepreneurs to start and grow their own wrap businesses. I was so grateful for my journey that allowed me the freedom and income to raise my daughter, and was excited to share this opportunity with others.

2020-Present
I was ready to launch but timing is everything, they say. Covid shook me to my core. My manufacturers were falling apart or pivoting to stay in business, so I was forced to delay my launch. In the meantime, I learned more about social media, offered private online coaching, and improved my body wrap formulas. Today I have helped launch and grow many beauty and wellness spas. I’m so thankful for this chapter. xo, Dae
